LSC music graduates in the line-up for Chingfest

Back

LSC music graduates will feature in East London’s music festival Chingfest. Wrapping up the event on the main stage will be LSC alumni NAO. Fresh from stunning performances at Afropunk in New York, NAO will headline the event supported by artists including Incognito and Lemzi.

“As a former pupil of Leyton Sixth Form College, it’s great to be headlining the nearby festival of Chingfest,” said NAO. “Returning home to East London, an area of the UK that massively encouraged my love of music, is really exciting.”

The event’s Eastside stage will also feature LSC alumni and spoken word artist Amelia Poamz, as well as recent LSC graduates Kitch, and Miss Dionne.

“The Chingfest 2019 line-up will hopefully encourage young people to engage with the underground music scene London has to offer,” says NAO. “Something I’m a great believer in.”

Chingfest is on Saturday 31 August at the Ridgeway Park, East London. More details can be found on the Waltham Forest London Borough of Culture page at https://wfculture19.co.uk/Chingfest
