Student Wellbeing Campaign
A new ‘Leyton Community Wellbeing’ website has been shared with students and staff this week. Many staff and students have contributed to the design and content, hopefully it is a useful tool for students (and staff) to utilise and engage with.
It can be viewed here: https://sites.google.com/leyton.ac.uk/leytoncommunitywellbeing/leyton-community-wellbeing
To continue a focus on the theme of wellbeing throughout the half term; themed weeks in the ‘5 ways to wellbeing’ will be launched each Monday from 1st March until the end of term, as follows:
1st March – Connect
8th March – Be Active
15th March – Keep Learning
22nd March – Be Kind
1st April – Take Notice
The themed weeks will highlight the key messages, resources and activities associated with each theme via tutorial mail out, direct email to students and college social media accounts. We will also produce a weekly mail out for teaching staff which will encompass ideas of how to embed the wellbeing theme into lessons.
Feedback, ideas and additions continue to be gratefully received.
