A T-Level in Health is one of your options after you finish your GCSE’s.
T-Level stands for Technical Level and is a new qualification that allows a high-quality, work-focused alternative to A-Levels and BTEC. Studying on the T-Level will allow you to be prepared for work or further study in the sector by allowing you to have the time and space to ensure that you are putting theory into practice.
A T-Level in Health is a two-year course equivalent to three A Levels which means that your overall grade will receive the same UCAS points three A-Level grades would (for example, a Distinction * for T-Level = 3 x A* A-Level grade).
Learners will spend 80% of their time in the classroom and 20% in industry placements (9 weeks minimum, which is equivalent to approximately 750 industry placement hours).
Entry Requirements
A minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades 9 – 4).
These must include:
- 5 or above for English and Maths.
As part of the course, you will be required to complete a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Services) before commencing placement, the College will provide you with the necessary information to complete this process.
