Wiktoria Sniadowska
Wiktoria left LSC in 2021 after completing 4 A Levels and a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design, but her educational pursuits didn’t stop there! We asked Wiktoria to tell us about her Life after Leyton so far…
Can you tell me about your time at LSC?
I studied 4 A-levels in Fine Art, Photography, Sociology, and Art History. I then also completed a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design. LSC allowed me to delve deeper into my studies and explore my interests. As well as teach me the independence I needed to develop as a person.
What happened after you completed your studies?
I took a gap year to save some money and pass my driving test. I then went to University of Westminster to study BA(Hons) Fine Art Mixed Media and graduated with a 2:1, which let me to study an MA in Global Contemporary Art at Westminster, which I am now completing. Alongside my studies I also held multiple jobs, including working at Warner Bros!
What do you do with your time now?
I am completing my MA, and going on to study a PGCE in Further Education at UCL, I will then hopefully start my teaching career whilst undertaking a PhD!
What has been the most rewarding experience?
I think meeting all my classmates and all the academics at uni has been incredibly rewarding. There is so much that I have learnt from them, and so many opportunities opened up to me because I went to university.
Do you have any advice/guidance for current students?
I would encourage everyone to pursue higher education. The experience has honestly been the best time of my life. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Uni has shaped me into the person I always wanted to be.
