LSC Staff member wins CoLRIC Jeff Cooper Award

A huge congratulations to our very own Library and Study Skills Assistant Benjamin Poore who has been awarded the Jeff Cooper Award for Inspirational Information Professional of the year. This Award is presented to an individual each year who demostrates a commitment to change lives and empower students.

The judges stated:

“…committed, creative and innovative individual, who is making a really impressive contribution to library service delivery".

In particular, the judges were impressed by the variety of student support activities in which Benjamin was involved and felt that his focus on facilitating outcomes for individual learners is truly inspirational.
