Please tell us a little bit about who you are and what you currently do with your time

I am a risk management expert and have worked in the financial services sector for the past 22 years. I was born in Zimbabwe and came to the UK in 2006. I support Chelsea Foot ball club end go to watch live matches whenever i can. I am married with three children two girls and one boy.

Please tell us about any education or work experiences which are relevant to your role as a Governor

In my current role, as Chief Risk Officer, I work closely with the Board where I am a member of the Risk Committee as well as the Audit Committee. I am an attendee to all Board meetings. This experience means I bring some corporate governance expertise to the Board as well as well-developed financial and risk management expertise.

Please tell us why you wanted to be a Governor for LSC specifically and what you hope to achieve in this role

I am a strong believer of the ability of education to transform lives by stimulating social mobility. In my current role as Chief Risk Officer, I am a mentor and role model for junior employees most of whom I have employed initially as interns and help them develop into fulltime employees. Being a product of a graduate traineeship myself, I have a keen interest in helping others to learn on the job. More importantly, I share LSC’s values and strategic priorities
