What is the course about?

This course gives students the opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social care sector. The course  leads to Higher Education, Apprenticeships and Employment. In recent years, our students have progressed on to various HE courses including  Midwifery, Nursing (including Adult, Child and Mental Health), Social Work, Radiography, Physiotherapy, Paramedic Sciences and Psychology. This is an exciting course which will give students the unique opportunities to make a real difference to the community and to be  part of the next generation of Health and Social Care. The course has a combination of external and internal assessments.

Duration of course: 

2 years. (Equivalent to 3 A Levels). This is a fully timetabled course.
