The Care Academy is an exciting and new opportunity for BTEC Science and Health and Social Care students who are thinking of nursing or caring as a career. This opportunity is unique and will help you understand the role of a carer and a nurse. Nursing is an extremely competitive course at university and the Care Academy is designed to prepare you well.

 

Who should apply?

Anyone who is considering a career in nursing or caring and is studying BTEC Extended Diploma in Level 3 Applied Science or Extended Diploma Level 3 Health and Social Care.

Must have GCSE English and Maths (grade C/4 or above)

A person who is enthusiastic, passionate and excited to help improve health care in the NHS.
