Detail: A filmmaker recalls his childhood, when he fell in love with the movies at his village's theatre. He returns home to his Sicilian village for the first time after almost 30 years and is reminded of his first love.
Guest Speaker
Paul Fletcher is Director of the Walthamstow International Film Festival, which launched in 2010. He initiated the E17 Film
Workshops in the same year. Paul is passionate about all aspects of film and has made countless shorts over the years, which have circulated in the international film festival circuit. He particularly enjoys the disciplines of the short film format and the editing and storytelling shorthand required in the genre. His most overused phrase is “film makers make films, pick up a camera and do it!".
