This course is available to students who have achieved a grade D at GCSE but require a higher grade for entry to higher education or employment.

The topics covered are: Number, Shape and Space, Statistics and Algebra.

How is it assessed?

Assessment is by two written examinations worth 100% of the final mark. There is no coursework.

Course duration

One year full-time.

You should have GCSE grade D in Maths or Key Skills Application of Number level 2.

Give your completed application form to the person responsible at your school/college – head of year or careers teacher. Please then send us your completed form, including your reference and predicted GCSE grades. Remember to attach a copy of your most recent passport photo page.

Following receipt of your application we will send you an acknowledgement. You will then receive another letter to invite you for an interview. We look forward to receiving your application.
