Our open-access areas are equipped with up-to-date computers and software, and are available to you no matter what course you are taking. All computer use is monitored to ensure fair access to all students.

The facilities available are:

• PCs, plus a range of printers and scanners.
• Black and white or colour laser printing is possible from every workstation at any time
• The MyPC system, which allows you to reserve a computer ahead of time, so you get the access you need.
• A wide range of software, including word processing, graphics, desktop publishing, spreadsheet and database applications, to help you produce your coursework to a high standard.
• Photo editing and web page design.
• High-speed connection to the Internet via all workstations in the LRA which allows you to explore the wealth of information available on the world wide web. This facility is available in all IT rooms throughout the College.
• Access to a College-wide network of CD-ROMs covering a range of subjects.
