College Open Days give students the opportunity to find out about college life and get a sense of what a college is really like. Students can discover more about their chosen courses and explore the college site at your own pace. At Leyton Sixth Form College, Open Days are a real way for us to welcome prospective students and their families and show them around the college that we are proud of. All our programme areas have their doors open with staff and student available on the day to answer any queries visitors may have.

Course information

You may have decided on your courses already but Open Days are a unique opportunity for you to find out more about your courses and gain further information directly from the teachers and students. You can also gain further information about your chosen careers and where doing these A Level and Vocational courses will take you in the future.

Make sure you ask about the structure of the course and what modules you will be expected to study throughout the year.

Facilities

College Open Days are an ideal way for you to explore the facilities and picture yourself studying there. Leyton Sixth Form College had £40million rebuild which means students have access to a purpose built Sports Hall, Theatre, TV Studio, Drama and Dance Studios, a two floor library and many more. We always have student ambassadors to do tours for prospective students and their parents/carers so you cannot get lost.

Local Area

Open Days are also a great way to get to know the local area and find where the college is and how easy it is to get to it from home. On the day, students can also let you know about the local attractions and what they enjoy about studying in a sixth form college.

Meet our students

At Leyton Sixth Form, we pride ourselves in knowing that our students form a part of our welcoming community. You can find out about the college from the students themselves and ask their honest opinion about studying at the college.

Atmosphere

The one thing that Leyton Sixth Form College always receives as feedback is about how welcoming and friendly everyone is at the college. From the moment you walk on site, you should feel like you belong at the college and you can study there for two years. If you like what you see and feel comfortable, then you should think seriously about applying at that college.

Leyton Sixth Form College’s next Open Day is on Saturday 4th February, 10am – 1pm.
